Because it is a muted color, it doesn’t feel obtrusive and almost functions as a neutral. It’s also a very versatile color that you can pair with many others. 

If you’re looking for a good combination shirt to go with olive green pants, look no further than light pastel pink. Of course, classic white or light blue make great pairings as well, or you can pair olive green pants with a brown or beige sports coat for an outdoorsy-looking ensemble.
